Just after 5:30 PM on Sunday April 11th, engines 601, 622, 606, 605, truck/tower 601, 606 chiefs BC 601, BC 602 SO600 and rescue 613 were alerted for a house fire at 725 Vermillion Drive. Engine and truck 601 arrived on the scene with a two-story house with fire on the 2nd floor with heavy smoke on the 1st floor. Engine 601 and Tk601 started with an interior attack, but were forced out do to the amount of fire. Under the direction of command BC601 (Nally) Truck 601 and Tower 606 operated the ladder pipes, bringing the fire under control with-in minutes. Mop-up continued for the duration of the incident.
The second alarm was sounded bringing ER602, E618, E623, TL602, Air Unit 623, BC603
Company 623 operated for approx. 1 hour before returning.
